Recent events have taken place that have compromised many of our users personal workstations. We have had to make changes to all FTP accounts to protect you from receiving this infection. However this has caused your FTP Password to be reset by you in able to access your FTP again.
For this to be successful please follow all of these steps specifically:
1. Before changing password please scan your computer for any malware or viruses. Windows Defender, or Housecall by Trend Micro are good choices to
eliminate the virus on your computer.
2. Log into the Helm Control Panel and choose FTP accounts from your menu of icons.
3. Change the Password and confirm. Please be careful when choosing a new password and use these tips specifically:
- DO NOT use the same password
- Use Special characters such as * & % $ { etc.
- Mix Upper and Lower cases
- Use Numbers in the password
- DO NOT use the Domain Name in the password
- Do not use your login name, or any derivative thereof
- Do not use any word, from any language
- Do not use any personal information of any person associated with the account (birthdays, SSN, initials, job titles, etc.). It is also unwise to use any personal information of your children or other persons
